The Metabo HPT 5" Pro Series variable-speed concrete grinder RSEV 17-125 Set is a professional-grade tool made for exceptional durability, safety and productivity in heavy-duty, dustless concrete grinding and restoration applications. Powered by a 14.5 A long-life motor, the tool delivers variable speeds from 2,800 to 9,600 RPM. It is ideal for edging, floor preparation, coating removal, leveling, and parting-line cleanup. Key electronic features include soft start, Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) speed stabilization, electronic overload protection and restart protection. For enhanced cooling and extended tool life, the motor features an unobstructed rear air intake, optimized airflow, epoxy-coated windings and a winding protection grid, extending armature life up to five times longer than grinders without it. Safety is enhanced with Metabo HPT's patented S-Automatic mechanical safety clutch, which helps reduce kickback risk.
